Job PurposeBorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our PowerDrive System business unit team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that components and products are consistently manufactured in full compliance with specified requirements. They apply knowledge and a solid understanding of product and process engineering. They improve supplier operations to achieve reductions in lead time, inventory, PPM/total cost, and manufacturing system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the first and last piece release form.
- Prepare the process release form.
- Approve Poka-Yoke implementations.
- Provide training to Quality Analysts.
- Supervise the work of Quality Analysts.
- Coordinate projects related to the quality area.
- Provide on-site support for customer complaints.
