Job Description: Senior Account Manager – Mexico This role is fully remote, and the idóneo candidate must be based in Mexico City Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven, highly autonomous Senior Account Manager based in Mexico City or Monterrey to drive enterprise sales growth across Mexico. The ideal candidate has a strong network of senior decision-makers, deep experience in cybersecurity, data protection, cloud, or related technologies , and a proven track record of building strategic customer and channel relationships. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy & Execution – Mexico Develop, qualify, and execute a high-quality sales pipeline focused on strategic enterprise accounts and major business conglomerates ( grupos empresariales ) across Mexico. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity development through executive engagement, solution positioning, contract negotiation, and closing. Build and execute account strategies that drive new customer acquisition, expansion, and long-term growth. Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct prospecting, executive networking, partner ecosystems, and strategic relationships. Operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of the Mexico market strategy while remaining aligned with broader company objectives. Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. 2. Channel & Alliance Partner Engagement Build and maintain strategic relationships with key local and regional channel partners, including VARs, distributors, technology partners, and strategic alliances such as Rubrik and Nutanix . Develop and execute joint go-to-market and co-selling strategies with partners to accelerate pipeline creation and revenue growth. Collaborate closely with partner sales teams, alliance organizations, managed service providers, and technology ecosystems to position Assured Data Protection's managed services and data resilience portfolio. Enable and train channel partners to effectively identify, qualify, develop, and close new opportunities.
Establish strong relationships with partner executives and sales leadership to drive joint account planning and strategic opportunities. 3. Executive Relationship Management & Solution Selling Establish and maintain trusted, strategic relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and CFOs . Engage confidently with executive audiences and deliver compelling, high-impact presentations tailored to business and technical stakeholders. Understand complex customer challenges and translate them into compelling business outcomes and solution strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them strengthen their cybersecurity posture, protect critical data, modernize backup and recovery strategies, and build long-term cyber resilience. Lead consultative, value-based sales conversations that align technology solutions with business priorities, risk management, and organizational objectives. 4. Pipeline Management, Forecasting & Sales Discipline Maintain strong CRM discipline, ensuring accurate and timely updates on accounts, opportunities, pipeline activity, and next steps. Apply structured sales qualification methodologies, such as MEDDPICC , to drive pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and deal progression. Develop accurate and reliable sales forecasts and communicate pipeline health, risks, and opportunities to leadership. Maintain a consistent cadence of account planning, opportunity reviews, and strategic pipeline management. Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets. Qualifications & Experience Location Must be physically based in Mexico City (CDMX) or Monterrey .
Willingness to travel within Mexico as required to meet with customers, partners, and prospects. Professional Experience 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience , preferably selling into large enterprises and major business groups in Mexico. Proven success selling solutions in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity Data protection Backup and disaster recovery Cloud infrastructure Data resilience Managed services Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with long decision-making processes and significant deal sizes. Established relationships with senior decision-makers and key business groups in the Mexican market. Proven experience working with channel partners, distributors, VARs, and technology alliances in a co-selling environment. Language Skills Native Spanish . Fluent or professional-level English , with the ability to independently conduct business meetings, deliver presentations, negotiate, and collaborate with global teams in English. Exceptional presentation, communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills. Strong business acumen and consultative selling capabilities. Ability to navigate complex enterprise organizations and build relationships across multiple levels. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
