In this role, you will be responsible for the daily activities of the cost accounting department.
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in general accounting, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position reports to the Cost Accounting Manager.Essential Functions:Performs journal entries, reconciliations, and other month-end close dutiesCompletes standard cost rollsMaintains the Cost Accounting inbox and processes cost requestsEnsures adherence to Standard Costing Policy and ProceduresPerforms standard cost variance analysisCompiles and reviews purchase price variancesIdentifies and implement process improvementsPerforms ad-hoc financial analysisCollaborate with internal employees across a variety of departmentsServes as a liaison with the external audit team to ensure the timely delivery of audit requestsManages multiple projects with a focus on meeting critical deadlinesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field1-2 years of accounting experienceSAP experience within the manufacturing industry preferredAbility to independently manage tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProfessional proficiency in EnglishProficiency in MS OfficeAdvanced MS Excel skillsExperience in Microsoft Access databases preferredExperience working collaboratively across departments and functional areasThis position is onsite and located in Ensenada, MXFender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is one of the world's leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers and distributors, whose portfolio of brands includes Fender®, Squier®, Presonus®, Gretsch®, Jackson®, EVH®, Charvel®, Bigsby®, and Groove Tubes®, among others.
