Based in Ciudad de Mexico (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual (Spanish/English),TechnicalProject Managerto focus on successful delivery of projects related to Digital Intelligent projects.
As such this person shall have hands on experience on integrating technologies to deliver complex solutions to clients.
He/She shall be recognized as a trusted source of technical knowledge and their deductive skills will support providing insights into approaching the proper technical solution and the capability to take the best decisions to successfully meet project technical requirements and support the team meet the deadlines.
The Technical Project Manager will report directly to the Practice Group Lead and will ensure that technology adheres to client requirements and business goals; this role is required to have a high degree of technical acquaintance and soft skills to manage the subject matter experts to take the best decisions to design, build and deploy Digital Intelligence solutions.
As such, this role is required to travel no more than 20% of hist time to directly supervise, coordinate and monitor the execution of projects, while keeping the Practice Group Lead informed of risks, issues and critical decisions needed for the projects.
Main responsibilities:
Understand each of the project's technical requirements
Assign, prioritize and follow-up on subject matter expert activities
Conduct/Assist to meetings where technical requirements are discussed and/or defined
Review technical documentation on the following areas of expertise:Electronic/Electrical devices
Communication devices: switches, firewalls, AP, Routers
Servers, Virtualization, Storage
Metal Mechanic plans
Electrical/Electronical diagramsLead and provide guidance to these technical teams:IT Infrastructure team
Technology Integration
Equipment Installation
Consulting
Logistics/Provision Supply
Software developersReview and refine technical reports to be presented to customers
Oversee the execution of the technical activities on the areas mentioned above.
Review, comment, optimize and approve work schedules
Help logistics in negotiations with suppliers
Explain technical issues to manufacturers so they can understand it and provide a solution
Plan and review test protocols for UAT, FAT, SAT.
Revision and control of progress and contracted Work volumes.
Review, comment and optimize manuals, reports, specifications, requirements.
Ensure that all Works are done in accordance with project requirements and standards.
Capture client requirements and translate them into actionable items for the technical teamsQualificationsBachelor's Degree: in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (Degree required).
A minimum of 3 years of software development
A minimum of 5 years as subject matter expert in technology integration
A minimum of 3 years with onsite experience for project delivery
5 years leading a technology team
1 Year of Experience interacting with clients
IT knowledge experience
Understanding Servers/Storage technology
Full command of verbal and written English communications skills.
Experience using agile methodologies for project management
Capable of managing multiple fronts simoultaneously
Experience using Jira or similar tool for activity management
Experienced with Microsoft Project (is a plus)
Master degree in Technical Subject (is a plus)Additional Information
