Job Description

Leadthe day-to-day operation and continued development of the company'sprocure-to-pay environment. Oversee purchasing activities and negotiatecontracts to ensure a cost-effective and efficient procurement process. Establish relationships with vendors and develop purchasing strategies toacquire goods and services while adhering to budget constraints.

Createstandards and protocols for the company’s purchasing processes. And continuouslyevaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-savingopportunities and process enhancements

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Procurementbuyers and analysts, which includes establishing clear roles, service levels,work queues, escalation paths, and performance expectations

Builda customer-oriented service culture focused on responsiveness, accuracy,control, and continuous improvement

Identifying,evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability,cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards

Oversee procurement intake, requisition andpurchase-order support, catalogs, supplier onboarding, vendor master-datacoordination, reporting, compliance, and issue resolution

Partnerwith Category Management to move Procurement from a transaction-focusedfunction to a strategic, data-driven organization

Negotiatingcontracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing,



payment terms,and mutually beneficial agreements

Analyzeprice proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine areasonable price

Conduct market research and analyze industrytrends to support procurement decisions

Collaborating with internal stakeholders tounderstand their requirements and align procurement activities withorganizational goals

Managingsupplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issueresolution, and fostering long-term partnerships

Createstandards and protocols for the company’s purchasing processes. And continuouslyevaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-savingopportunities and process enhancements

Requirements

Bachelor’sdegree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

5+years as purchasing manager

1. 10years of procurement experience

Strongteam leadership and people development skills

In-depthknowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices

Demonstrableexperience in the North American market and familiarity with local suppliersand sourcing channels

Strongskills in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation techniques.

Knowledgeof vendor management and source-to-paysystems

Ananalytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Abilityto work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
