Plant Controller - Electronics Manufacturing Services - Guadalajara Guadalajara - Full-time - 60K - 70K MXN gross (46K - 54K MXN after tax). Following its recent acquisition by a larger international group, the Guadalajara plant is experiencing strong growth and significant investments, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Controller to become a key business partner for the site's leadership team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Administration, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities - Act as the Finance Business Partner for Operations, supporting Production, Supply Chain, Engineering and Management teams. - Analyze manufacturing performance, product profitability and cost variances, providing recommendations to improve financial performance. - Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial analysis processes. - Monitor inventory valuation, standard costs and manufacturing variances. - Perform detailed product costing, COGS analysis and margin analysis.
- Support pricing decisions and commercial profitability analysis. - Coordinate monthly IFRS reporting packages and financial closing activities. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives together with Operations to optimize manufacturing costs and operational efficiency. - Support investment analysis, CAPEX evaluation and business case development. - Prepare management reports and KPIs to support strategic decision-making. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience as Plant Controller, Cost Controller or Industrial Controller within a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing and manufacturing finance. - Experience working with ERP systems (SAP FI/CO preferred). - Advanced Excel skills. - Strong analytical mindset and business acumen. - Ability to work closely with Operations and influence business decisions. - Fluent English.
