The Role
Manages the invoices generated by spare parts sales to dealers being sure to control the movement of due payments to the credit line granted by BBVA and following up with the dealers the healthy finance of their credits.
Responsibilities
- Monthly spare parts invoicing gets over 2,000 per month with weekly shipment and invoicing from Logistics area.
- No systems are available to make an automated selection of invoices in overdue stages.
- Invoices in overdue need to be classified and moved to BBVA credit line manually in a daily basis.
- This position will be responsible to follow up the credit line availability with each dealer.
- A permanent communication with AFS Logistics, Finance, BBVA and dealers is required.
- This is exactly the same position available in vehicles F&I;, covered by 3 team members but in AFS with a higher volume of monthly invoices and a more complex process due to parts inspection and credit notes possibility.
- The workload and detailed analysis and control requires of this position a full time job activity.
Main Challenges
- The company's parts wholesale operation is experiencing sustained growth with some issues on payments collection from dealers, the root solution is launching a parts credit line with BBVA bank who developed this tool for GWM after negotiations, but the volume of invoices requires a 100% dedicated position to guarantee proper control and management of each invoice manually.
- Being sure that dealers will maintain a proper payment scheme to the bank to be sure that the credit line is always open being able to cover the payments to GWM.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (MANDATORY) in Engineering or Business.
- Areas of experience: At least 2 years in collection, F&I;, credit managemets, parts management, parts ordering.
- Experience in the automotive industry or similar manufacturing environments.
- High level of Organization skills, clear communication, working under pressure, time management, detail-oriented, negotiation (collection).
- Communication skills.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
