Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, hasan opening for a Human Resources Manager at our facility located inRamos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico.
For over 110 years, Bard Manufacturing Company has been a familyowned and operated company, leading the HVAC industry in the modular,classroom, equipment shelter, and other light commercial markets. Withproduction facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service ourcustomers both nationwide and internationally by designing andmanufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.
Scope and Responsibilities :
The Human Resources Manager leads all human resources functions atthe Mexico facility, including recruitment, employee relations,compliance with Mexican labor law, compensation and benefitsadministration, training and development, and support for plantleadership on workforce strategy. This role serves as the primary HRpoint of contact for the site and partners closely with corporate HR(US) to align local practices with company-wide policy.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage full-cycle recruitment and staffing for all positions
Ensure compliance with the Ley Federal del Trabajo (Federal LaborLaw), IMSS, INFONAVIT, and other Mexican regulatory requirements
Administer payroll inputs, benefits, and compensation programs incoordination with finance/payroll
Lead employee relations: investigations, disciplinary actions,grievance handling, and conflict resolution
Manage labor union relations and collective bargaining agreement(CBA) administration
Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, org design,and headcount decisions
Oversee the training function, including safety, compliance, andleadership development programs,
providing direction and support tothe Safety/Training Coordinator
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including requiredMexican employment documentation (contrato individual de trabajo, etc.)
Maintain personnel files and HR records in compliance with localdata privacy law (LFPDPPP)
Support performance management processes and coachsupervisors/managers on people issues
Serve as liaison between US corporate HR and Mexico siteleadership, translating policy for local context
Monitor and report on HR metrics: turnover, absenteeism,time-to-fill, etc.
Experience and Skills:
Education/Experience Requirements :
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,Psychology, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 yearsina manufacturing/industrial environment
Deep working knowledge of Mexican labor law and IMSS/INFONAVIT requirements
Experience supporting or interfacing with US-based corporatestructures preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) required — verbal and written fluency
Experience with union relations and CBA management a plus
Strong discretion and judgment in handling confidential andsensitive matters
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
