Support the financial monitoring and performance analysis of a U. S.-based multifamily real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for candidates with direct experience reviewing multifamily assets, analyzing property performance, tracking key financial metrics, and working with recurring portfolio reporting. The analyst will identify missing information, inconsistencies, and material variances, and communicate relevant findings to the internal team.
Key Responsibilities Collect and organize quarterly financial information from sponsors and property operators Input and maintain financial data in standardized Excel reporting models Review property-level financials for missing information, anomalies, and inconsistencies Analyze rental income, occupancy trends, operating expenses, debt schedules, reserves, and overall property performance Compare presente performance against prior periods, budgets, and projections Flag material variances and follow up when additional information is required Maintain accurate financial reporting across multiple multifamily assets Reporting & Analysis Perform financial statement and variance analysis Support recurring portfolio and asset-level reporting Track KPIs and operating trends across properties Summarize key findings, discrepancies, and performance drivers for the internal team Communicate clearly with sponsors, property managers, and internal stakeholders Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business,
or a related field preferred
Experience 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate finance, asset management, property accounting, or multifamily underwriting support Direct experience working with multifamily properties is strongly preferred Experience reviewing property financials, operating statements, budgets, and performance trends Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and property-level performance metrics Skills Strong accounting and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to identify financial inconsistencies and material variances Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional English proficiency Ability to work independently and manage recurring deadlines Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience working with financial reporting models and large data sets Ability to review and audit formulas, supporting schedules, and standardized reporting files Understanding of rental income, operating expenses, debt, reserves, and multifamily performance indicators Success in This Role
A successful candidate will have direct exposure to multifamily asset performance, strong Excel and reporting skills, and the ability to quickly identify issues in financial data.
