Job Description
The Impact You'll Make As our Trade Compliance Specialist , you’ll play a key role in enabling compliant and efficient integral trade operations by ensuring accurate tariff and export control classifications across our organization. Your expertise will help reduce regulatory risk, support customs compliance, and provide the critical trade data foundation needed for product origin determination and free trade agreement qualification. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Customs Brokers, and Trade Compliance teams worldwide, taking ownership of classification processes that help us move toward a more compliant, efficient, and globally connected future.
What You’ll Be Doing Lead tariff and export control classification activities by assigning and maintaining HTS, Schedule B, NICO, and ECCN classifications in alignment with global standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure accurate and defensible product classification decisions.
Support customs compliance activities by serving as a key contact for brokers and providing guidance on classification-related matters.
Investigate, resolve, and document classification discrepancies with suppliers, customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Continuously improve classification processes, data quality, and compliance practices to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory readiness.
What We’re Looking For Experience in tariff classification, customs compliance, international trade regulations, or a related Trade Compliance function.
Strong understanding of HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and other international product classification frameworks.
Ability to interpret technical product information and apply classification methodologies in a compliant and business-focused manner.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global business environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with professional proficiency in English.
