Monitors the shift activities for skilled trade employees on assigned shifts, including facility and manufacturing equipment.

Job Requirements Managing the dispersal and distribution of materials for production; maintaining labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule. Reviewing the departmental operating procedures, ensuring timely completion of work orders in line with department procedures, removing obstacles, and streamlining operational efficiency. Performing audits periodically, maintaining the production activity throughout the particular shift, and enforcing the plant procedures and policies. Monitoring the safety initiatives, monthly training, mock drills, and ensuring compliance with the occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) guidelines. What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
