Purpose of Role
The Materials & Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and control of all raw materials, purchased components, WIP and finished goods inventory. The role provides leadership to warehouse and materials personnel while ensuring inventory transactions are accurately maintained within the organisation's ERP system, supporting efficient production operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all warehouse and materials management activities.
Ensure complete accuracy and integrity of inventory records within ERP system
Manage the receipt, storage, movement and issue of raw materials, components and finished goods.
Maintain accurate inventory transactions and ensure all stock movements are processed in real time within IQMS.
Ensure full traceability of materials and finished goods in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Oversee inventory control processes including cycle counting, stock audits and annual physical inventories.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure inventory accuracy targets are consistently achieved.
Manage warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise efficiency and material flow.
Ensure production areas are supplied with materials in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
