Purpose of Role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the safe, efficient and effective operation of a manufacturing area, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, cost and people management. The role provides frontline leadership to production teams and drives a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily production activities within the assigned manufacturing area.




Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, observations and active leadership.
Manage production teams to achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
Conduct daily performance reviews and tier meetings.
Monitor safety, quality, delivery and productivity KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and manufacturing standards.
Manage employee attendance, scheduling, overtime and workforce allocation.
Support recruitment, onboarding and training of production employees.
Ensure employees are properly trained and certified for their roles.
Lead performance management, coaching and employee development activities.
Foster a positive, engaged and accountable team culture.
Ensure customer quality requirements are consistently achieved.
Lead containment and response activities for quality issues.
