- Responsible for total Purchasing Volume of assigned material families e.g. Springs, Fittings, Pallets, Plastics Parts, Gaskets, Raw Material or others commodities according to candidate profile
- Develop strategies for the responsible Commodity groups in order to ensure the correct supply base for the business
- Dual source development as required by the Commodity strategy
- Achieve the committed objectives for the Commodity in terms of productivity e.g. price savings and technology change, payment terms, logistic performance, quality requirements by negotiations and considering supplier innovations
- Drive initiatives for cost reductions and cost avoidance
- Correct implementation of digitalization in all key/strategic suppliers foresaw in their commodity group
