Removal Defense Paralegal Supervisor
Role Objective
The Removal Defense Paralegal Supervisor leads and develops the removal defense legal support team, ensuring the coaching, resources,



and accountability needed to deliver exceptional client service in high-stakes immigration proceedings. This is a people management role; you will manage the paralegals who support removal defense cases, freeing our attorneys to focus on trial preparation and legal strategy.
Responsibilities / Duties
Conduct weekly 1-on-1 meetings, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
Identify training needs specific to removal defense workflows and coordinate skill development.
Conduct performance reviews, contribute to compensation recommendations, and address team matters in coordination with firm leadership.
Ensure team members follow strict checklists for EOIR/ICE filings, hearing preparation, and calendar workflows.
Audit work quality, track KPIs, and identify process bottlenecks, recommending improvements to leadership.
Take escalated client calls with empathy and de-escalation, and provide real-time guidance to team member
