Chief plays a vital role in maintaining editorial quality, operational safety,

About the Role
As Bureau Chief in Mexico, you will:

* Set editorial priorities and strategy for the bureau, ensuring alignment with

* Oversee a team of beat reporters focused on initiative and specialist
reporting and breaking exclusive news.
* Drive a newsroom culture that values originality, depth, and relevance,
championing coverage that stands apart from the competition.
* Ensure the bureau delivers timely and accurate reporting on major
developments, while also pursuing forward-looking, agenda-setting stories.
* Provide strong editorial oversight, including mentoring reporters, editing
copy where needed and elevating the quality of output across formats.
* Foster collaboration across desks and formats, ensuring the bureau
contributes effectively to multimedia storytelling.
