The Public Affairs team at Flix Mexico drives institutional positioning, regulatory strategy, and strategic partnerships to enable sustainable expansion in a complex and highly regulated environment. This role plays a critical function in connecting government engagement with business ecosystem alliances, ensuring both regulatory access and strategic positioning across key markets.
About the Role
Lead and execute Flix's Public Affairs strategy in Mexico, aligning institutional engagement with business priorities.
Develop and manage relationships with federal, state, and municipal authorities to support expansion and regulatory positioning.
Build and strengthen partnerships with strategic ecosystem players.
Drive policy advocacy efforts and participate in regulatory processes impacting the mobility and infrastructure sector.
Identify and activate strategic opportunities that enhance market access,



positioning, and partnerships.
Monitor political and regulatory developments, proactively managing risks and defining mitigation strategies.
About You
Bachelor's degree required (Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics or related field); Master's degree is a plus
4+ years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or policy advocacy, preferably in regulated industries (transport, infrastructure, energy)
Strong understanding of Mexico's regulatory and political landscape, with proven experience engaging public sector stakeholders
Demonstrated experience working with business chambers or industry associations
Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels
Strong strategic thinking, judgment, and ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments
Professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
