About the Role We're growing our Finance team and looking for a sharp, analytical
Staff Accountant
based in Mexico City. You'll own core day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and record-keeping, while partnering closely with our US-based finance function. This is a hands-on role with real scope to shape processes as we scale, idóneo for an accountant who is as comfortable in a bank reconciliation as they are in a pivot table. This position reports directly to our VP of Finance.
What You'll Do
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records across our US and Mexico entities
Perform monthly
bank reconciliations




and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Prepare and post journal entries and support the
month-end and year-end close
Manage day-to-day transactions in our accounting software (A/P, A/R, general ledger)
Build, clean, and analyze data in
Excel and other database/reporting tools
to support financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis
Prepare supporting schedules and analytical reports for management and audits
Help document, standardize, and improve accounting processes as the company grows
Collaborate across borders with finance, operations, and leadership
