Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to identify, qualify, and drive new business opportunities in the affiliate marketing space. This role requires a combination of strategic research, strong business sense, and the ability to effectively engage with decision-makers to set appointments and drive the sales process forward.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential leads using a combination of quantitative and qualitative factors to assess the potential for affiliate marketing opportunities. Qualify leads by evaluating company size, annual revenue, vertical, and existing affiliate programs. Target decision-makers within eCommerce departments (CMOs, VPs, Marketing Managers) and set appointments for Account Executives to drive the sales process.
Use CRM systems (Zoho, Smart Lead) to maintain accurate lead records, track interactions, and ensure follow-ups are timely and efficient. Leverage research tools such as Sales Navigator to identify and engage with target prospects effectively.



Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth transitions from lead qualification to the sales process. Regularly update and refine lead lists, ensuring they remain current and relevant based on quarterly data updates. Develop outreach sequences and execute them to effectively nurture leads and drive engagement.
Requirements Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, including knowledge of affiliate networks, agencies, and publisher operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with decision-makers and drive sales conversations. Experience with CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce) and lead management. Strong research and analytical skills, able to evaluate leads based on both data and experience. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
