AI Marketing Specialist / Generative Search Lead — Relocation to Cozumel, Mexico

Reports to: Marketing Project Manager and Dr. David Hoskins (Founder)

Compensation: competitive, to home account, plus full room and board on our Cozumel campus. $2,500-$3,000 USD/month + up to $500 USD/month performance bonus + full room and board. Local currency amounts shown by Indeed are approximate equivalents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will own Sanctuary's presence in the new, AI-driven dimension of marketing — the layer beyond traditional Google SEO and PPC. As search and discovery shift toward AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews/Gemini, Claude, and voice assistants), you make sure Sanctuary's brand, clinicians, and content are cited, surfaced, and recommended by these systems.

You will build our Generative Engine Optimization (GEO/AEO) strategy, deploy AI tooling across the content and campaign workflow,



and future-proof our visibility as the landscape moves from ten blue links to AI-generated answers. This role complements the SEO Strategist: where that role owns classic organic and geographic search, you own AI-answer visibility and AI-powered marketing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — make Sanctuary the cited, recommended source inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, and voice search.
- Track and improve how the brand, its clinicians, and its programs appear in AI-generated answers; monitor AI citation share and sentiment.
- Structure content for machine readability and citation: entities, structured data, FAQs, clear claims, author authority, and trust signals that LLMs reward.
- Build and manage an AI tooling stack for the marketing team — content, research, drafting, repurposing, image/video, and automation — with quality and brand-safety guardrails.
