Job Description: The Education Sales Representative / Lead Qualifier is responsible for generating new business opportunities through high-volume outbound calls and email outreach to schools and teachers across the U.Proactively prospect and engage educators to introduce WorldStrides programs, qualify leads by identifying teachers interested in organizing student travel experiences, consistently meet and exceed monthly targets for calls and qualified leads, and collaborate with the Sales team by passing high-quality opportunities for closing. This is a goal-driven, outbound sales role where success depends on your ability to handle rejection and stay motivated, build rapport quickly over the phone,
maintain strong activity levels daily, and meet weekly and monthly goals in order to achieve additional compensation through a set commission structure. You'll work with a wide range of educational travel programs (history, science, national parks, and more), giving you constant opportunities to connect with new prospects and refine your sales and communication skills. Work on special projects, including periodic competitive calls, calls to unassigned schools, specialty schools and other telemarketing efforts. Periodically research schools to help identify top prospects and maintain the database. Qualifications: Desired work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing. Proficiency in relevant computer applications including CRM. Desired knowledge of customer service/sales principles and practices.
