TLDI is looking for an Architect or Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our Project Planning & Control team for a hospitality project in the Cancún area.
This is an on-site position for a technically strong professional with hands-on construction experience who can support the team in the review, coordination and preparation of information required for procurement and construction.
Key responsibilities:
- Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings, identifying inconsistencies, missing information and coordination issues.
- Coordinate technical information between designers, consultants, contractors and the Project Management team.
- Support constructability reviews and follow up on technical issues affecting construction.
- Prepare and organize scope packages, quantity take-offs, catalogs/BOQs and technical information for contractor and subcontractor pricing .
- Review contractor quotations and verify alignment with drawings,
specifications and defined scope.
- Track drawing revisions, RFIs, design comments and pending technical decisions.
- Support the release of information required by the construction and procurement teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering .
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in construction, technical coordination, project controls or design management.
- Previous on-site construction experience .
- Experience in hotel, resort or hospitality construction is preferred.
- Strong ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methods, quantities, specifications and scopes of work.
- Experience preparing information for tendering and quotation processes is highly valued.
- AutoCAD proficiency; Revit knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred.
