We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Virtual Assistant to support our administrative operations and help deliver an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities Top Priorities Serve as the virtual front desk by managing inbound and outbound patient calls and patient communications. Process dental and medical insurance pre-authorizations. Verify dental and medical insurance eligibility including same-day eligibility checks Prepare and send referral acknowledgment letters and emails. Perform billing-related tasks. Provide general administrative support as needed Requirements Experience At least 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare administrative role.



Dental practice experience is highly preferred. At least 1 year of experience with dental and medical insurance pre-authorizations and insurance eligibility verification. Clinical or healthcare experience (e.g., Nursing, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing, or similar) is an advantage. HIPAA training or certification is a plus. Skills & Qualifications Spanish-English bilingual skills are highly preferred. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Drive and Google Meet). Basic Requirements Must speak and write English clearly and professionally. Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory). Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required. Internet: Stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps). Audio: Noise-canceling headset. Video: Working webcam for virtual meetings
