CIMMYT is looking for an outstanding, self-motivated, and result-oriented professional for the position of General Physician to provide timely, comprehensive, and high-quality medical care to CIMMYT staff, while promoting health, preventing disease, and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations. General Medical Care and First Contact General medical consultations (acute and chronic conditions). First aid and emergency care. Prescription and follow-up of medical treatments. Conduct periodic inspections of first aid kits and defibrillators. Occupational Health and Medical Surveillance Creation and updating of occupational medical records.
Health evaluations for specific risk exposure (chemical, physical, ergonomic, psychosocial). Participation in the Health and Safety Committee. Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Design and implementation of health campaigns (vaccination, mental health, etc.). Health education workshops or talks (nutrition, stress management, ergonomics, etc.). Coordination with Human Resources and Employee Well-being. The incumbent must hold at least a Bachelor's degree as a Medical Doctor (M.Current certifications in Civil Protection courses (First Aid, Evacuation, Search and Rescue, etc.), Proficiency in computer equipment and Microsoft Office applications. Intermediate level of English (written and conversational). English will be tested, and candidate should score a minimum of B1-B2 on CEFR.
