The Opportunity Nutanix is seeking a Staff Consulting Architect – Nutanix Database Service (NDB) to architect, design, and deliver enterprise Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise customers modernize their database platforms through architecture, hands-on delivery, automation, and operational transformation. You will combine deep expertise in database administration, virtualization, automation, and database lifecycle management to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable database platforms supporting Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other enterprise database technologies. Our team is made up of highly skilled consultants, architects, and technical professionals who collaborate to solve complex infrastructure and cloud challenges. Your Role Database Platform Assessments & Architecture •Lead customer discovery workshops and technical assessments to understand database modernization goals, operational requirements, and business objectives.



•Design enterprise Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) platforms using Nutanix Database Service (NDB), defining database blueprints, provisioning standards, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. •Architect database platforms across Nutanix AHV and hybrid cloud environments, including Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS and Azure. Database Platform Implementation & Modernization •Deploy Nutanix Database Service (NDB) and implement automated database provisioning, patching, cloning, point-in-time recovery, lifecycle management, and zero-downtime database upgrades. •Lead database migration and modernization initiatives from legacy or physical environments to Nutanix-based platforms while maintaining consulting scope and delivery quality.
