About the job

Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer – Platform Modernization & Integration to help strengthen and evolve the platform’s core services,



with a focus on improving security, modernizing legacy components, and developing scalable backend solutions. The role will contribute to key platform initiatives, service optimization, workflow orchestration, and the development of new core capabilities.

What you’ll do:

Design and implement secure API gateway capabilities, including authentication, authorization, token validation, access controls, rate limiting, monitoring, and caching.
Consolidate and modernize backend services and APIs to create unified, scalable, and maintainable service interfaces.
Decompose legacy monolithic components into modular services and implement event-driven integrations to improve scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.
Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions to automate complex business processes, service interactions, and scheduled activities.
