We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, assisting with month-end and year-end close, and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
The adecuado candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and support monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform account reconciliations, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reconciliations.
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure appropriate coding,



documentation, and authorization.
Assist with accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and account management.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding invoices, reimbursements, and other accounting-related documentation.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
Assist with audits and financial reporting as needed.
Complete special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as requested by leadership.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
