Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Product Line Support Manager.
What you’ll do:
Supervises the daily activities and assignments of the Product Line Support (PLS) engineering team. Performs complex engineering relate assignments often requiring development of new or improved products/process/techniques. Assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering test/products/equipment. Develop yearly strategic plans aligned with Division Engineering and LP operations.

Job responsibilities
• Supervises the day to day activities of the PLS engineering team (Lead Engineers, Master Designers, Supervisors).
• Reports status on PLS team assignments, prioritize engineering request, projects and engineering to varius cross functional teams based on Business needs.
• Supports the engineering aspects of cost out activities.
• Ensures the proper design procedures and processes of the engineering team.
• Contributes to successful project completion by participating in the resolution of issues such as conflict design requirements.




• Coordinates project activities with other operating or engineering units to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion.
• Review project-related documentation to insure its accuracy and complaince to Regulatory Agencies.
• Assists in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project design/ product improvements.
• Provide technical soundness of design decisions and product changes to facilitate manufacturing, reduce cost, substitute material, improve quality and accommodate special customer needs.
• Prevent and correct manufacturing issues that affect product function ability or impact design intend.
• Certification process coordinator.
• Support to existent manufacturing process, collaborate with cross functional team in the design of new manufacturing process.
