Job Summary
The Lean Manager leads the facility’s continuous improvement strategy, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and disciplined project management practices to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. This role partners with functional leaders and frontline teams to identify high-impact opportunities, deliver measurable business results, and embed sustainable operating practices across the organization.
Responsibilities




Develop and execute the site Lean and continuous improvement roadmap in alignment with business priorities and operational goals.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects using DMAIC, A3 problem solving, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, standard work, visual management, and other Lean tools.
Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify losses, prioritize opportunities, validate root causes, and measure sustained results.
Build and manage a portfolio of improvement initiatives, including scope, resources, timelines, risks, financial impact, governance, and executive status reporting.
Facilitate workshops and rapid improvement events that engage production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, engineering, and support functions.
Coach leaders and employees in Lean thinking, structured problem solving, change management, and daily management routines.
Establish controls, standard work, and ownership mechanisms to sustain improvements and prevent performance regression.
