This is a consulting opportunity for an experienced mobile gaming professional to shape the product, economy, monetization, and retention strategy of a competitive free-to-play title.
You’ll work on a mobile game in soft launch, with paid user acquisition already underway, giving you the opportunity to influence critical systems at an important stage of growth.
The role requires a holistic view of the player experience, connecting FTUE, progression, monetization, engagement, and competitive fairness.
You’ll use real player and product data to identify friction, uncover opportunities, and recommend changes that can meaningfully improve game performance.
Your work will involve navigating complex trade-offs where changes to one system can directly affect retention, spending, progression, or player trust.
You’ll collaborate across product, game design, economy, analytics,



and LiveOps to turn analysis into practical product decisions.
This role is idóneo for someone who has shipped and measured changes on live F2P mobile games and enjoys solving interconnected product challenges.

Accountabilities
Evaluate the first-time user experience and early player journey, identifying tutorial drop-off, time to meaningful gameplay, early-game difficulty, and opportunities to improve onboarding.
Assess how effectively new players understand core mechanics and determine which systems and complexity should be introduced early versus later.
Analyse the game economy, including currencies, progression systems, sinks, faucets, resource scarcity, progression gates, and the overall player power curve.
Evaluate progression pacing, player demand, long-term goals, and the relationship between power progression and competitive fairness.
