What you will do:
You will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of MRO materials and spare parts through effective negotiation of purchase orders and contracts with both local and international suppliers.



You will guarantee that procurement processes at Altamira comply with Americas Procurement standards, while driving cost competitiveness through a strong and reliable supplier base focused on cost avoidance and cost savings.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the reliability and availability of purchase orders, contracts, CRAFS, and OLAS for the acquisition of technical goods, while maintaining full compliance with corporate and regional procurement policies. You will also oversee consignment processes and manage import operations, including overseas shipments and cross-border logistics through the U.S. (Texas-Laredo border).
- Developing and maintaining a reliable supplier base, ensuring vendors are selected based on quality, on-time delivery, professionalism, ethical behavior, and compliance with company safety standards, while securing the most favorable commercial and payment terms.
