We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Specialist Engineering

Role purpose

The role requires a strong technical background and a deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs. Proficiency in programming languages such as Cobol, Java, Python or JavaScript is essential for building reliable integrations. A solid grasp of data formats such as JSON and XML is crucial for effective data exchange between systems. In addition, experience with API authentication methods, including OAuth and API keys, is required to ensure secure integration.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential. The API Integration Specialist will play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency in integration processes, contributing to the overall success of technology initiatives.

Main activities:
- Design, develop,



and maintain APIs and integration services to meet business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze integration needs
- Monitor API health and performance; troubleshoot incidents and implement root-cause fixes.
- Create and update technical documentation for API integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and, where applicable, clients/consumers of the APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (desirable)

A detail-oriented mindset is required to ensure accuracy in data handling and integration tasks, along with a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.
