Aerospace company requires Surface Treatment Engineer

Chinese company located in San Luis Potosí S.L.P.
- Own and control internal plating and coating processes (anodizing, passivation, electroless nickel, etc.)
- Ensure full compliance with NADCAP, AS9100, and customer specifications:
- Lead NADCAP audits, process qualification, and continuous audit readiness
- Define and maintain process parameters, work instructions, and control plans:
- Monitor and improve process capability, yield, and defect reduction:
- Lead root cause analysis for surface treatment defects (adhesion, corrosion, FPI-related issues, etc.)
- Ensure chemical process control, bath maintenance, and lab verification systems
- Support production, quality, and EHS on chemical handling and process discipline
- Maintain traceability, certifications, and technical documentation




- Support qualification and monitoring of external NADCAP-approved suppliers as backup or overflow capacity
- Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years hands-on experience in surface treatment plant operations:
- Strong knowledge of chemical processing, bath control, and line operation discipline:
- Direct experience preparing for and passing NADCAP audits:
- Experience troubleshooting shop-floor defects, not just documentation
- ADVANCED ENGLISH
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in casting and machining environments
- Experience with supplier auditing and qualification
- Familiarity with AS9100 QMS and MES/QMS systems
- Experience supporting aerospace OEM customers (Boeing, GE, Airbus, etc.)
