Job Title: Maintenance Specialist / PM & AM Field Engineer (2-12 months)
Location: Saltillo, Coahuila
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Mapping & Machine Ledger Verification:
- Conduct hands-on plant audits to map installed equipment against asset lists, establishing physical machine hierarchy, sub-assemblies, and coding logic (Parent/Child relationships).
- Determine machine criticality levels based on operational impact, safety risks, and breakdown history.
- Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP) Creation:
- Draft, test, and validate detailed SMPs directly at the machine, specifying task steps, required tools, execution frequencies, expected durations, and safety lockout/tagout (LOTO) points.
- Secure formal plant owner sign-offs and approval for the compiled SMP library.
- Autonomous & Preventive Maintenance (AM/PM) Calendars:
- Define and deploy Autonomous Maintenance (AM) inspection routines and cleaning/lubrication calendars for line operators.
- Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules by area/line, setting clear ownership, escalation rules, and execution frequencies.
- Shopfloor Execution & CMMS Data Handoff:
- Validate maintenance routines directly on the shop floor with production and maintenance teams prior to data loading.
- Partner with the CMMS Specialist to ensure machine trees, SMPs, and maintenance calendars are accurately configured in CMMS Prometeo.
- WCM Standards & Operator Training:
- Apply World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, focusing on the Professional Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) pillars.
- Lead hands-on training for line operators and maintenance technicians to ensure standard execution of AM checklists and PM routines.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Education: Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or Maintenance Engineering.
- Experience: 3–8 years of hands-on experience in industrial plant maintenance (Preventive & Autonomous Maintenance) in high-volume man
