We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, assisting with month-end and year-end close, and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

The idóneo candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and support monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reconciliations.




- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure appropriate coding, documentation, and authorization.
- Assist with accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and account management.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding invoices, reimbursements, and other accounting-related documentation.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting as needed.
- Complete special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as requested by leadership.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
