Job Summary
The Site Quality Engineer creates value by supporting the assigned site with continuous improvement towards defect-free processes that satisfy customer needs and achieve business results.
In This Role, You Will Make An Impact By
- Supervise and lead quality inspectors team.
- Supporting plant quality systems related to customer concerns, including corrective action requests and containment activities.
- Ensuring products and manufacturing processes comply with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations (IATF, APQP, PPAP, customer-specific requirements, etc.).
- Supporting change management activities for current production and Value Package Introduction (VPI), verifying products and processes to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Analyzing quality data and metrics to support decision-making and continuous process improvement.




- Participating in and supporting internal and external quality audits.
- Serving as a technical quality resource for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and other business partners to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Applying problem-solving methodologies and quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, 7-Step Problem Solving, and Intelligent Quality Tools & Methods (IQTM).
- Supporting Safe Launch activities and new product introductions to ensure successful implementation.
- Promoting a culture of quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
- Availability to work the third shift (11:45 p.m. – 6:15 a.m.).
- Familiarity with quality standards and methodologies such as IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team
