Position Summary
The Production Supervisor oversees all daily production operations, ensuring that safety, quality and productivity standards are consistently met while actively engaging in hands-on support. They are responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle to meet customer demand. The Supervisor must be comfortable overseeing a diverse group of team members with limited additional leadership support. They facilitate clear and effective communication, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members through coaching, training, and constructive feedback to promote skill development and career growth. Additionally, they analyze operational data to make informed decisions, monitor key performance indicators,



and utilize tracking systems to meet daily production goals.
Responsibilities
- Make sure all their team complies with safety activities.
- Attend daily start up meetings
- Supervise daily operations within the department to ensure productivity and efficiency and quality of products.
- Along with Planning review and follow up of the production plan
- Utilize direct and/or indirect labor to maintain on-time delivery of items within the department on a daily basis.
- Communicate weekly and monthly compromises to the team.
- Identify employee development needs and monitor compliance with Parker policies and procedures.
- Train and develop employees to maintain a flexible workforce capable of supporting fluctuations in business demand.
- Conduct performance reviews for hourly employees as required.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels, generating tracking reports, and performing necessary data entry.
