Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities that support operational requirements and Supply Chain objectives.
The adecuado candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations while helping drive innovation and excellence in aerospace procurement.
What You Will Do:
Identify qualified suppliers for requirements, fully leveraging existing agreements;
Manage purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment for assigned commodities within the Indirect team;
Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery in support of commodity supplier and cost strategies;
Analyze supplier quotes and makes sourcing recommendations sourcing decisions
Ensure product on-time delivery to schedule
Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time and terms & conditions
Complete purchase order documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures
Ensure timely placement of orders to support business needs and meet team defined turn times;
Strong communication skills to interface with requisitioner and other functional groups
Ability to work as a team member independently based on additional projects as assigned to support Supply Chain org
