About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist – North America to join our People & Culture Operations team in Querétaro, Mexico.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing payroll operations across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and adherence to payroll controls and validation procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong multi-country payroll expertise who enjoys working in a dynamic, international shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end payroll processing for the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Perform payroll calculations including salaries, overtime, bonuses, taxes, deductions, and statutory contributions.




Validate payroll inputs received from HR and operational teams.
Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
Perform payroll reconciliations, payroll audits, and variance analysis.
Execute payroll control procedures prior to payroll finalization.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.
Support internal and external audits as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
Prepare payroll reports and statutory documentation as required.
Act as a subject matter expert for complex payroll matters and regional payroll regulations.
Provide backup support for other payroll activities within the Shared Services organization.

What You'll Bring
Education
Bachelor's Degree completed in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
6 to 10 years of experience in Payroll O
