Position Summary

The Process Design Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of process designers in the development of safe, efficient, and high-quality process solutions. This role ensures that all design activities are executed in alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements. The supervisor will play a key role in coordinating cross-functional collaboration, optimizing workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Specific Activities

Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes,



identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
Review and approve design outputs to ensure compliance with internal standards and client specifications
Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Utilize design software and tools to create, modify, and validate process layouts and documentation.
Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, design standards, and training materials
Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
