Role Description: We are looking for a Sr. IT Vulnerability Consultant to work under a service contract, remotely for one of our customers in Puerto Rico. This role requires a vast expertise in cybersecurity's best practices and experience managing IT Vulnerabilities. It also requires good intercommunication skills to be able to respond to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in vulnerability assessment and management, including experience with common scanning tools, prioritization frameworks, and remediation planning.
Solid knowledge of network and infrastructure security, including firewalls, operating systems, endpoints, servers, and cloud platforms.
Experience with application and web security principles, secure coding practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in documenting findings,
creating clear technical and executive-level reports, and presenting recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence remediation efforts, and manage multiple assessments in parallel.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, or comparable credentials are highly beneficial.
Experience working in complex, heterogeneous IT environments and an understanding of business continuity and enterprise service management concepts.
Fluency in English and Spanish, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Auditing and PM skills are a Plus.
