DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure all arrangements are made for the execution of shipments through designated area of responsibility
Mentor and support lower-level logistics peers by sharing expertise and best practices
Create and document standard operating processes
Manage complex exceptions and drive problem solving to prevent the reoccurrence of problems and improve processes
Assist in the facilitation of cross training within assigned team
Responsible for meeting operational targets within a particular region, mode, business unit, or small account
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, carrier
