The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) will be in charge of delivering updated scientific information to a broader group of healthcare professionals.
The role of the Medical Scientific Liaison will be to provide essential information which in most instances will be medical, but it can also be purely technical linked to other fields such as biology, pharmacoeconomic data, pharmacology, etcetera, with personal contact, visiting key physicians locally and around all the country, in fact, the main activities will be in a field work setting.
The Medical Scientific Liaison will have a constant cross functional interaction with different members of the Business Unit. The top priority of a MSL is to provide scientific information to health care providers and obtain insights. MSL will actively engage in activities that support the strategic direction of a product. Therefore, MSL will be exposed to key decision makers both within the organization and outside the company. As catalysts of collaboration between Pfizer and HCP, MSL will be a key player to transmit updated scientific information,



research resources and business intelligence.
Provide scientific information to HCPs involved in the specific Pfizer drugs to increase the knowledge about disease, its diagnosis and drug efficacy, safety and correct use.
Need to be aware of the latest medical/scientific information with regards to the therapeutic area under his responsibility.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOLs and academic centers to ensure their access to current medical and scientific information
Develop specialized rising stars and opinion leaders, to become KOLs, clinical investigators and/or speakers.
Prepare and develop the scientific information and materials to be discussed with the HCPs with the support advice and approval of the Medical Manager.
Coordinate medical events as part of the objectives in diffusion of scientific information.
