Job Summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Reporting to the Process Engineerthe Process engineer Responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting structural welding and sheet metal manufacturing processes, including robotic welding programming, WPS development, and process validation. This role will drive manufacturability improvements, perform root cause analysis, ensure compliance with AWS standards, and support production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
What a typical day looks like:
Program and optimize robotic welding systems for structural welding and sheet metal manufacturing processes, including process parameters and welding sequence development.
Develop, maintain, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) in compliance with AWS standards and customer requirements.
Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing prints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly p
