You will sit next to the CFO on the decisions that set Lumina's trajectory: which markets we enter, which properties we take on, how we structure the deals, and where the capital comes from. This is not a support seat. You will build the models that go to our board, run diligence on live transactions, and present to owners and investors who write real checks.
It is the right fit if you have transaction or strategic-finance experience, you are comfortable in a room with senior stakeholders, and you would rather own a decision than model someone else's.
what you will do.
- Strategic planning. Lead long-term planning and build financial projections for Lumina, its business units, and individual projects. Find the levers that improve performance and return on invested capital, then make the case for pulling them.
- Transactions. Run deal execution end to end: due diligence, financial modeling, coordination with legal counsel and external advisors on documentation, and postclosing integration.
- Budgeting and performance. Own budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis across the portfolio, tracking property-level P&L;, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, margins, and cash flow.
- Stakeholder reporting: Prepare and coordinate monthly reporting to asset owners, investors, and the executive team.
- Market intelligence. Research target markets and competitors, and build the fundraising materials that follow: models, memoranda, and roadshow presentations.
- Cross-functional work. Work directly with Operations, Revenue Management, and Accounting to turn what happens inside our properties into financial insight the business can act on.
what you bring.
- Three to five years in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, corporate development, strategic finance, FP&A;, equity research, or management consulting.
- Deep command of accounting and corporate finance, including financial modeling and company valuation.
- A track record of building board-level presentations and investment memoranda that hold up under scrutiny.
- Strategic instincts, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn fast and drive cross-functional work in a company that moves quickly.
- Sharp quantitative and problem-solving skills, real attention to detail, and the presence to build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Nice to have: experience in hospitality, real estate, or multi-unit businesses, and fluency with AI tools.
