Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership in the design and delivery of enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and data products.

The adecuado candidate will combine strong data engineering expertise with the ability to lead engineering teams and large-scale data initiatives. This role requires advanced skills in SQL, Python, PySpark, data modeling, ETL/ELT architectures, and modern data integration patterns.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and data products.
- Define scalable data architectures and technical implementation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams.
- Design and optimize ETL and ELT processes.
- Develop data pipelines and processing solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Implement Master Data Management solutions.
- Design RESTful APIs and data services.
- Support event-driven and real-time data processing solutions.
- Establish standards for data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams.
- Support delivery within an Agile software development environment.

Required Experience




- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or enterprise data platform development.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading engineering teams or large-scale data initiatives.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and data products.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Required Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise.
- Strong development experience with Python and PySpark.
- Deep understanding of ETL and ELT architecture patterns.
- Experience implementing Master Data Management solutions.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and data services.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and modern integration approaches.
- Understanding of microservices-based architectures.
- Experience with event-driven and real-time data processing.
- Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.
