Role DescriptionJob Title Senior IoT Connectivity Engineer (Matter | Wi-Fi | BLE | Zigbee)

Experience

- 5 years in IoT/Embedded Systems
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Matter protocol

Role Summary Design, develop, and integrate secure IoT connectivity solutions for smart building and smart home products using Matter, Wi-Fi, BLE, and Zigbee. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver interoperable, standards-compliant, and production-ready connected products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement Matter-enabled IoT solutions for smart devices.
- Develop and integrate Matter over Wi-Fi and Matter over Thread/BLE commissioning.




- Implement and maintain Wi-Fi, BLE, and Zigbee connectivity stacks.
- Integrate devices with major smart home ecosystems (Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings).
- Perform interoperability testing with Matter-certified devices.
- Debug networking issues using protocol analyzers and packet captures.
- Support OTA firmware updates and secure device provisioning.
- Collaborate with cloud, mobile, hardware, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in certification activities, including Matter, Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with the Matter SDK (CHIP).
- Knowledge of Thread Border Routers.
- Familiarity with Silicon Labs, Nordic, NXP, Espressif, or TI wireless SoCs.
- Experience integrating with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT, etc.).
- Exposure to IEC 62443 or ETSI EN 303 645 is desirable.
