We’re looking for a Bilingual Rent Collections Specialist who can communicate with tenants professionally, understand their situations, and help resolve outstanding balances through clear communication and practical payment solutions.

Our client is a growing property management company looking for someone who is confident, empathetic, persuasive, and persistent, someone who can have a challenging conversation while maintaining a positive and professional relationship.

If you have collections experience and strong communication skills , this is an opportunity to put those skills to work in a fully remote role.

What You’ll Do

- Contact tenants regarding past-due rent and outstanding balances .
- Make professional outbound collection calls in English and Spanish.
- Listen to tenant concerns and work toward practical payment solutions.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and clearly document agreed terms.
- Follow up consistently on overdue accounts and payment commitments.
- Communicate with tenants in a calm, respectful, and solution-focused manner.
- Handle payment-related conversations with confidence, patience, and professionalism .
- Maintain accurate records of calls, payments, arrangements, and collection activity.
- Coordinate with the property management team regarding collection matters.
- Complete related administrative and documentation tasks.




- Keep account information organized and ensure follow-ups are completed on time.

What You’ll Bring

- Fluent English and Spanish — required.
- Previous collections experience — required.
- Property management or rent collections experience is a strong advantage .
- Comfortable discussing past-due payments and payment arrangements with customers or tenants.
- Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
- A personable, calm, and empathetic communication style.
- Persistent and organized, with strong follow-up skills.
- Strong written and verbal English.
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities independently.
- Able to remain professional and solution-focused when handling sensitive or challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
