Role Description This full-time remote Commission Specialist role at Spectrum Marketing Associates is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely calculation, processing, and reporting of commission payments. The specialist reviews sales data, validates eligibility, and reconciles commission discrepancies in coordination with sales and finance teams. Daily tasks include managing commission reports in Excel, responding to internal and external inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of commission structures and policies.

The role also involves supporting training efforts for team members on commission processes, identifying process improvements, and assisting with audits or special projects related to compensation programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, explain commission outcomes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess Training and Sales-related experience to understand sales cycles,



support staff education, and interpret how performance impacts commission structures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting, to manage commission calculations and reconcile data accurately. Power BI a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to investigate discrepancies, ensure data integrity, and recommend process improvements.
- Candidates should possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential compensation information responsibly.
- Experience in commission processing, payroll, sales operations, or compensation administration is beneficial.
- A background in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
