Role Description The Cost Supervisor / Cost Chief is a full-time, on-site role based in Zapopan, JAL, responsible for overseeing cost accounting, cost control, and cost analysis activities within the plant. This role manages the collection, verification, and reporting of production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, and ensures accurate cost allocation to products and projects.

The position involves preparing and reviewing cost reports, variance analyses, and profitability assessments, collaborating closely with operations, production,



and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and support budgeting and forecasting.

The Cost

Supervisor / Cost Chief is expected to maintain and improve cost-related policies and procedures, support internal and external audits, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to management for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong cost accounting and financial analysis skills, including standard costing, variance analysis, and budget monitoring.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and spreadsheet tools for data management, reporting, and cost modeling.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, with understanding of production processes, inventory, and overhead allocation.
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and develop cost-control initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex cost information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, JAL, and to operate effectively in a multicultural, integral manufacturing environment.
- Advanced English: Full professional fluency is mandatory, as the entire ERP implementation process and system configuration will be conducted in English
